Set of 6 Dorset buttons, made from variegated, hand-dyed yarns. Dorset buttons are built up on rings (plastic, wood or metal). They don't have holes or bits on the back to sew them on, you just put the yarn through the button, so these come with lengths of the same yarn so you can do that without it showing. I call this set "Tudor" buttons, because they remind me of the colours worn back then.
