Bags, gloves, hats (woolly and summer), headbands, scarves... we knit and crochet all sorts of things for all sorts of people! We no longer have an online shop. Please contact us if you want to buy anything, or have something made to order (which we’re happy to do!).
The bag below is like the one I made for myself - to test the design, you understand... On its first outing, it attracted enough attention that I was asked to make the one in the photographs - to sell this time! Obviously it would have been churlish to refuse... I call it a Carpet Bag.
All the squares are crocheted and are adapted from patterns from as far apart as India and the USA! The multi-coloured wool used in many of the squares is hand-dyed in small batches. As such, these particular colour combinations are unique and unrepeatable, unfortunately!
All the bags are fully lined (the larger ones are also interlined and have reinforced bases) and have leather handles or straps rivetted on through chunky rings. See the Bags page for full details.
